API Banking Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced API Banking Project Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage large-scale API banking projects with multiple stakeholders, including delivery teams, to implement API banking changes across countries within the region.
  • Infrastructure Setup: Coordinate infrastructure setup to support API uplift and track deliverables.
  • Project Scope Management: Manage API project scope, track requirements, delivery schedule, host weekly project working committee meetings, and call out risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Client Testing and Commercialization: Plan client testing and commercialization with product owners at group and country levels, manage overall timelines, and address risks or issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work hand-in-hand with Business Project Managers to manage project stakeholders and relationships, ensuring teams work in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Project Risk: Experience in managing project risks and implementing risk mitigation plans.
  • UAT and Digital Project Management: Strong understanding of UAT and digital project management principles and practices.
  • Agile Project Management: Proven experience in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading enhancements estimates, timelines, scope, and agile delivery to quarterly releases.
  • Software Project Management: Strong understanding of software project management principles and practices.
  • PRINCE2 and Assurance: Knowledge of PRINCE2 and assurance principles and practices.
  • SDLC Methodology: Understanding of SDLC methodology and its application in software development.
  • Commercialization and Banking: Experience in commercialization and banking projects.
  • REST APIs and Web API: Strong understanding of REST APIs and web API concepts.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis and business acumen.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Professional Services: Understanding of professional services and their application in software development.
