Research Opportunities at the Intersection of Soft Matter and Microfluidics
">We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join our research team in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects focused on studying polymers at the single-molecule level. The project aims to bridge the microscopic and macroscopic properties of polymers, with both experimental and computational work being carried out.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop microfluidic platforms for single-molecule polymer studies
- Study molecular-level dynamics of systems of interest
- Perform regular imaging experiments using fluorescence microscopy
- Work collaboratively and train junior lab members
- PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, physical sciences or related fields
- Published at least 1-2 publications as a first author in top international peer-reviewed journals
- Experience in soft matter and/or microfluidics
- Experience with programming is desirable
- Experience in lab automation is desirable
- Strong communication and analytical skills
