We are seeking a Public Relations Expert - Government Communications to join our team at IMDA. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies that support IMDA's policy and initiatives. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective messaging and engagement with our target audiences. This role requires a strong background in public relations, communications, or journalism, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in journalism, public relations, or government communications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communications plans and strategies that support IMDA's policy and initiatives
- Manage relationships with media, internal, and external stakeholders
- Spearhead issues management to prevent online harms and enhance online safety
- Partner with divisions to understand their priorities and develop effective communications plans and media materials
- Coordinate efforts with other agencies, ministries, and licensees where required

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or journalism
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in journalism, public relations, or government communications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders
