Job Overview

The Senior Technical Solutions Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions to meet customer needs. This involves installing, configuring, and commissioning equipment according to specifications and industry standards.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on technical ability, and excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Solutions Delivery: Install and configure equipment as per specifications, conduct functional tests, and ensure systems are operating optimally before handover.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, identify root causes, and carry out corrective repairs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and support to clients both onsite and remotely.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, prepare service reports, and provide feedback to engineering and product teams.
  • Customer Training & Relationship: Train clients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment, and maintain strong professional relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and industry standards, and ensure compliance with relevant certifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, or installing relevant equipment.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on technical ability, good communication skills for customer interaction and reporting, and ability to work independently and travel frequently.
  • Qualifications: Familiarity with safety standards and risk assessments, and preferred qualifications include experience in hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or steel work (marine/shipyard).
