We are seeking a talented Research Fellow to join our team in the Department of Statistics & Data Science at National University of Singapore.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, focusing on the design and analysis of statistical methods for data-assimilation of high-dimensional time-series data.

Key areas of interest include reinforcement learning, Koopman operators, and unsupervised representation learning, as well as state-space modeling techniques such as particle filters, EnKF, and variational approaches.

This is a two-year contract with the possibility of renewal upon review. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related field, and strong experience in Python programming.

Additional requirements include experience with at least one deep-learning framework and a demonstrated record of academic publications. We encourage applicants to get in touch informally to discuss further details about the position.
