Job Title: Customer Service Professional

Job Description:
  • This role involves managing end-to-end import and export operations to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Candidates will coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, and warehouse teams for cargo movement.
  • A key point of contact will be required to manage client inquiries and provide timely updates.
Responsibilities:
  1. Shipment Coordination & Execution
    • Manage the full cycle of import and export shipments from pickup to delivery.
    • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless cargo movement.
    • Monitor shipment progress and address any issues promptly.
  2. Customer & Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
    • Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate documentation and billing.
  3. Documentation & Compliance
    • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, customs declarations, and invoices.
    • Evaluate trade regulations and company standards to ensure adherence.
    • Maintain detailed records of shipments, costs, and operational performance.
  4. Problem-Solving & Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement in workflows and propose enhancements.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to cargo handling, customs clearance, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably in freight forwarding software.
  • Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and trade regulations.
  • Hands-on experience working with shipping lines, airlines, and trucking vendors.
