Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of manufacturing professionals and oversee the development of systems, planning, and budgeting to drive business objectives.
  • Develop and implement talent development and succession planning strategies to align with functional growth.
  • Collaborate with network leadership to develop operational strategy and partner with cross-functional groups to achieve business objectives.
  • Set and lead the implementation of strategic processes that align with key business strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of multiple strategic manufacturing project portfolios, including prioritizing and selecting projects, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and lead efforts to optimize business processes, define core competencies, and develop solution options.
  • Collaborate with other plant leadership to drive standardized manufacturing operations programs.
  • Meet operational performance and strategic objectives, including finance, absorption, manufacturing cost, quality, safety, environmental compliance, and MPS targets.
  • Provide leadership and direction to large cross-functional teams to implement global enterprise systems and related solutions.
  • Conduct business and technical briefings for senior and top management and external representatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with related operations management experience and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Senior Manager.
  • Demonstrated track record in operations management and experience working in a regulated industry.

  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into projects and operations that demonstrate the value of manufacturing to the business.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma.
  • Proven successful project management leadership skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, including interpersonal relationship skills and negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions.
  • Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment with strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with senior management and others concerning matters of significance to the company.
