Job Description

The Warehouse Support Assistant plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure they are in good condition
  • Pick and pack orders, preparing items for outgoing delivery or dispatch
  • Conduct routine stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments as required
  • Transport goods to customers or branch locations safely and on schedule
  • Collect items or documents from vendors or customers when necessary
  • Ensure careful handling and secure transport of all goods to avoid damage
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any issues detected
  • Complete all paperwork related to deliveries accurately

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience in warehousing is an added advantage
  • Capable of manual lifting or moving heavy items when required
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and delivery paperwork
