Job Description:
">CNBC is seeking a business news reporter based in Singapore to generate original enterprise business stories and deliver them across TV, digital, and social platforms.
">This role involves leading newsgathering efforts, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally to uncover exclusive, high-impact stories.
">The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business and financial news reporting, with a deep understanding of Asia, and the ability to develop and sustain a robust network of sources to generate proprietary content unique to CNBC.
">Key responsibilities include producing and reporting stories from the field, writing and contributing digital articles for publication on CNBC's website, and collaborating closely with editorial, production, and digital teams to drive the daily news agenda.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting live reports and conducting interviews with newsmakers and industry leaders on-air and online.
">Essential qualifications include a strong background in business and financial news reporting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality stories under tight deadlines.
">Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
">Preferred attributes include experience working in a similar role, familiarity with key newsroom systems and applications, and a background in working for a leading business news organization.
