Software Development Role">Our company is looking for a skilled software developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and the ability to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software solutions in accordance with best practices.">The successful candidate will work on projects that involve identifying and prototyping new products that enhance existing capabilities or provide new opportunities. They will also be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software solutions.">The requirements for this role include a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience. The candidate should also be proficient in Python, JavaScript, Go or Java and have minimum one year of experience in web application development.">Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with message brokers and REST API design and have a good understanding of microservices architecture. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in analysing and resolving system issues are essential for this role.">It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience in DevOps (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Familiarity with networking equipment (e.g. switches and routers) and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS) is also desirable.">As we are an agency under the Ministry of Defence, only Singapore Citizens will be considered for this role.
