This role involves developing and implementing computer vision algorithms for object detection, recognition, tracking, segmentation, and image classification. You will design and architect computer vision systems to meet specific requirements and objectives.

You will be responsible for collecting, curating, and annotating large datasets of images or videos for training and evaluation of models. This includes training, fine-tuning, and optimizing models using machine learning frameworks and deep learning libraries.

Evaluation of model performance will be done using appropriate metrics and benchmarks. You will also integrate algorithms and models into larger software systems or products.

Conducting testing and validation to ensure functionality, reliability, and accuracy is a crucial part of this role. Documentation of design specifications, technical requirements, and implementation details is also required.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in computer vision through research and experimentation. Consider ethical, legal, and regulatory implications in development and deployment of systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing computer vision algorithms and models.
  • Proficiency in Python or C++.
  • Strong understanding of image and video processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV and similar libraries.
  • Experience with data collection, annotation, and preparation for training.
  • Ability to evaluate and optimize model performance.
  • Experience integrating solutions into software systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
