We are seeking a dedicated and accomplished individual to join our team as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Psychology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a PhD in psychology or a related field and a strong track record of research commensurate with career stage. They will be expected to contribute to teaching undergraduate and graduate core modules in the Psychology Programme and modules in their areas of specialisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong research programme in psychology
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate core modules in the Psychology Programme
  • Contribute to the administration of the Psychology Programme
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen Psychology's research programmes and teaching portfolios
Requirements
  • PhD in psychology or a related field
  • Strong research and publication track record commensurate with career stage
  • Experience and interest in teaching psychology core modules (undergraduate, graduate) commensurate with career stage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and commitment relevant to teaching, pastoral care, and administering the Psychology programme
Desirable Selection Criteria
  • Specialisation in one or more of the following subfields: forensic psychology, I/O psychology, health psychology, and applied psychology
  • Research and teaching interests that strengthen and expand Psychology's research programmes and teaching portfolios
