Lead Imaging Scientist for Wearable Ultrasound Innovation

We are seeking an innovative and skilled imaging scientist to join our research team. As a key member, you will contribute to the development of next-generation wearable ultrasound technologies tailored for aging populations.

About the Role

This position involves leading the fabrication and development of acoustic metamaterials as components in wearable ultrasound systems for long-term cardiovascular monitoring. You will investigate the effects of microstructure on the resulting properties and develop computational mechanics workflows to predict acoustic properties and guide the design of metamaterials.

In addition, you will work closely with clinical partners to support protocol development, data acquisition, and analysis for pilot studies and clinical validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop acoustic metamaterials for wearable ultrasound applications.
  • Develop computational mechanics workflows to predict acoustic properties.
  • Collaborate with clinical partners to support study development and data analysis.
  • Contribute to the advancement of wearable ultrasound technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
