About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Algorithms Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our advertising team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale Ads systems.

Your primary focus will be on building algorithms to improve ads pipelines, including recall, pre-rank, and ranking models. You will also design, develop, and maintain machine learning data jobs for advertising.

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to production to impact the ads business
  • Research and develop bidding algorithms and traffic control strategies
  • Design algorithms focused on user acquisition, activation, and retention for new and existing customers

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into production. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in computer science and experience with search/recommendation/ads systems and models like DSSM, DIN, MMoE.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience with search/recommendation/ads systems and models like DSSM, DIN, MMoE
  • Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LLM libraries such as Hugging Face, vLLM
  • Knowledge of data analysis, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment
  • Skilled in causal inference and uplift modeling for marketing and engagement
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on practical solutions
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, Hive, TensorFlow, etc.
