Research Opportunities in Neurodegeneration and Parkinson's Disease

Seeking a skilled Research Specialist to advance the understanding of Parkinson's disease (PD) and neurodegeneration through cutting-edge translational projects.

This role involves working on novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets in PD, with key responsibilities including:

  • Performing protein-and cell-based assays, such as recombinant protein purification, native protein purification, and immunoprecipitation.
  • Culturing and manipulating human stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived models.
  • Conducting in vivo studies in mice, including behavioral assays and tissue processing.
  • Investigating and validating biomarkers using techniques such as ELISA, flow cytometry, digital PCR, and seed amplification assay.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or a related biomedical field, with solid hands-on experience in molecular biology, stem cell culture, and mouse handling. Proven ability to independently design and execute projects is also essential.
