Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide administrative support to Science teachers, including preparing materials and apparatus for lessons, maintaining inventory, assisting with student supervision, and supporting science-related events.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment, ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities and contributing to the school's overall success.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist Science teachers in preparing necessary materials and apparatus before lessons.
  • Maintain and update the inventory list for science equipment, ensuring items are in good condition.
  • Support teachers in supervising students during lab work and during unstructured time such as recess.
  • Help Science teachers with perishable items needed for experiments and events.
  • Work with Science Head of Department on administrative tasks like collation of survey results and typing forms.
  • Help with safety management tasks, including crowd control during arrival and dismissal times.


Requirements:
  • At least one year's experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a school environment.
  • Minimum Secondary 4 education or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to assist in various administrative tasks and adapt to school schedules.
