This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic kitchen team as an Executive Chef. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and presentation.
- Leads a specific section within the kitchen (grill, pasta, salad, etc.)
- Ensures high standards of food quality and presentation
- Trains and guides junior staff
- Manages stock for their section and ensures first-in-first-out procedure
- Works closely with Head Chef to implement kitchen goals
- Provides guidance to other kitchen staff as needed
- Maintains adherence to food handling, hygiene, and storage procedures at all times
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to lead by example and handle peak periods
- Strong technical skills and kitchen discipline
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Physical fitness to handle kitchen pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
