Our ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in mainframe testing and is proficient in TSO, MVS JCL, ISPF, File Aid, COBOL, SQL, and DB2. You should also have expertise in automation tools like ISPF, CLIST, and REXX to streamline testing processes and develop custom tools as needed.

In this role, you will work closely with development and QA teams to identify, document, and track defects across SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative/Incremental). You will also participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mainframe systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
  • Utilize automation tools such as ISPF, CLIST, and REXX to streamline testing processes and develop custom tools.
