Job Summary: As an Intern - Quality Engineering and Manufacturing (QEM) Contamination Control Specialist, you will be part of our team responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and cleanliness in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contamination Control: Participate in the internship program focused on contamination control for our cleanroom manufacturing process.
- ERT and Security Response: Respond promptly to Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Security alerts, ensuring that gowning room logistics are adequate during evacuations.
- Contamination Monitoring: Respond to contamination alarms, report abnormal conditions to engineering and other stakeholders, and work with the chemical lab to analyze samples and obtain data in a timely manner.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Ensure that real-time monitoring systems are operating and recording properly.
- Investigation and Data Analysis: Conduct primary investigations on contamination issues and provide contamination data to engineering for analysis.
- Special Projects: Complete special projects and support contamination control engineering projects.
- Team Support: Ensure team members are practicing approved cleanroom protocols.
- Contamination Control Resources: Act as a contamination control resource to the Fab, Probe, Facilities, and supporting groups.
Deliverables:
- Support contamination control team daily operations.
- Collaborate with contamination control engineers to establish a cleanroom protocol program and ensure good particle or chemical particle control in the manufacturing environment.
