Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Marine Claims Executive. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in marine claims and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, intermediaries, surveyors/adjusters, handling agents, overseas principals, and other stakeholders to manage marine claims.
  • Manage correspondence and attend meetings with clients/intermediaries when required.
  • Upon claims notification, gather relevant customers' details, arrange surveys, and contact settling agents if needed.
  • Create claim files/checklists and verify policy/reinsurance/treaty arrangements before confirming underwriting acceptance.
  • Send acknowledgment letters and request necessary claims documents from clients/intermediaries.
  • Prepare and dispatch PLA/Cash-Call Advice; follow up with reinsurers for payments.
  • Draft LLA/MLR for approval and ensure reserves are timely and accurate.
  • Maintain and review diary dates of 'live' files and ensure proper bring-up dates before archiving.
