Our Infrastructure team manages approximately $40 billion of investments on behalf of OMERS and institutional strategic partners. We invest in clean energy, transportation and logistics, digital infrastructure, power and utilities, and other essential services. As an Associate, you will support our continued pursuit and management of high quality infrastructure investments in Asia.

The role involves supporting the research and analysis that helps to inform our investment decisions. You will be a key member of an engaged, high-reaching team that prioritizes people development and focuses on long-term growth. We lead the industry by earning respect through every interaction, every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will research and analyze financial statements, industry information, technical and financial data, and present conclusions to team members and managers.
  • You will independently develop financial models depicting an investment target's historical and projected financial results consistent with the team's evaluation of the investment.
  • You will critically review, stress test and comment on financial models to assess the integrity of the model and the financial returns of investment opportunities.
  • You will write memorandums and presentations summarizing key findings from diligence findings, research, financial analysis and meetings with industry representatives, co-investors and external advisors.
  • You will assist with asset management responsibilities by preparing analysis and responding to industry and company specific questions in respect of the portfolio companies.
  • You will prepare offer letters and other written correspondence addressed to external parties.
  • You will actively research prospective companies and industries to generate investment ideas for OMERS Infrastructure and identify important industry issues which are relevant to OMERS.
  • You will identify and track information gaps in OMERS Infrastructure's evaluation of investments and propose solutions to address the information gaps.
  • You will critically assess documentation and other communications provided by vendors, company management and other professional advisors, and incorporate the relevant portions of this information into investment analysis.
  • You will prepare OMERS Infrastructure's due diligence questions for company management and external advisors and assist in the preparation of all internal and external due diligence reports.
  • You will independently lead valuation work streams for pursuits with limited oversight by senior team members.
  • You will help foster an energized, proactive and entrepreneurial work environment.

  • You have excellent command of MS Office applications.
  • You at least 3 years of relevant buyside or sell side experience.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The location of this role is Singapore.
