Job Title: Lead Business Analyst - Life Insurance/ Life Asia

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team in the Life Insurance industry. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to drive growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of life insurance products, including claims management and policy administration systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that result in increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Insurance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Life Insurance or Claims Management.
  • Strong experience in life/Asia platform or life insurance products.
  • Familiarity with claims processes, including death claims, rider claims, critical illness, maturity, and surrender.
  • Experience in writing BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and process flows.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and data privacy standards is an advantage.
Management Skills:
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Claims Management:
  • In-depth knowledge of claims management processes and procedures.
  • Experience with claims handling software and systems.
Requirements Gathering:
  • Ability to gather and document business requirements effectively.
  • Experience with requirements gathering techniques and methodologies.
Technology Tools:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
