Environmental Sustainability Professional

Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Professional

The role of the Environmental Sustainability Professional is to oversee and enforce environmental health and safety standards in the workplace.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as the Workplace Safety and Health Act and the Environmental Public Health Act.
  • Implement and maintain effective procedures for managing environmental hazards and risks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on environmental health and safety best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Registration with the Ministry of Manpower as a Work Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
  • Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course, Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course, Confined Space Safety Assessor Course, Manage Hazardous Substances, Control Noise and Vibration.
