Job Overview

 

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dining Service Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service standards in line with hotel operating policies and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Responsibilities include delivering beverages and food garnishes accurately and efficiently, serving food and beverage orders from the kitchen to dining tables with efficiency, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, processing guest payments accurately, and preparing itemized checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service standards in line with hotel operating policies and procedures.
  • Prepare beverages and food garnishes accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverage orders from the kitchen to dining tables with efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing dirty dishes and glasses promptly and cleaning tables thoroughly after guests have finished their meals.
  • Process guest payments accurately and prepare itemized checks.

Guest Experience Skills:

  • Warmly greet guests, present menus and communicate daily specials effectively.
  • Answer guest questions about menu items with confidence and accuracy.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests accurately.

Financial & Administrative Support:

  • Perform cashiering duties as instructed.
  • Generate reports from the Point of Sale (POS) system on daily meal types served.
