Job Role: Technical Lead

The primary responsibility of a Technical Lead is to ensure the smooth operation and enhancement of system integration projects, particularly in biometric capturing and automated immigration clearance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of J2EE developers in architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise applications using J2EE technology.
  • Requirements gathering, translating business needs into technical designs, and overseeing a team to implement, test, and deploy applications.
  • Investigation and resolution of production issues, including end-to-end troubleshooting from client to server.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Computer Studies with at least Four full J2EE SDLC experience as a Technical Lead in J2EE solution architecting and design.
  • At least 3 years experience in a Technical Lead role.
  • Track record of leading technical teams for design, development, and deployment of medium or large scale J2EE projects using platform products like IBM Websphere, Oracle.
  • Knowledge and hands-on working experience in Struts Framework, SPRING Framework, Hibernate, Web Services (SOAP and/or REST), JMS, Java Design Patterns, HTML5, JQuery, JNDI, JSP, XML, Java Script, IBM MQ-Series, Crystal Reports, and/or Biometrics.
  • Team lead needs to be a team player, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Applicants should be self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to lead and front customers in the investigation of technical issues.
