Executive Risk Manager

Citi is a leading global bank that offers a wide range of financial services and products. We are currently seeking an Executive Risk Manager to join our team in Singapore.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage pre-settlement risk for cash transactions on an assigned group of clients, both financial institutions and corporates. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to articulate complex ideas to management and clients.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing periodic credit reviews and analysis of financial metrics on assigned group of clients, providing clarifications to clients and internal stakeholders on the calculation of regulatory initial margin uncleared derivatives and initial margin computed using internal models, working with sales and clients to analyze client portfolios, propose risk limits and work with Credit Risk Management to have them approved, and utilizing risk management tools for the measurement, monitoring and management of exposure.
Requirements- At least 8 to 9 years of relevant experience preferred for this role.
- Degree in business, finance or mathematics.
- Strong, relevant work experience in counterparty credit risk or XVA.
- Outstanding candidates with experience in market risk management and familiarity with credit risk management will also be considered.
- Familiarity with derivatives across asset classes.
- Knowledge of structured products is a plus.
- Experience in empirical data analysis, risk modelling and stress testing.
- Sound risk and business judgement.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with statistical tools and methods as well as with risk concepts (VaR, Factor Sensitivities, and Stress Test).
- Ability to work in a cross-functional teams across time-zones and to work well under pressure.
Citi offers a competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
