As a senior vessel manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels. This is a critical responsibility that requires a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vessels to operate within established standards for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish performance goals and expectations for sea staff, implementing proactive measures to drive results.
  • Develop and coach junior officers, as well as Masters and Chief Engineers, to enhance technical expertise onboard.
  • Provide daily technical support and guidance to assigned vessels.
  • Monitor vessel performance and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Optimize operating expenditure while maintaining required standards.
  • Coordinate dry-dockings and major repairs for client vessels.
  • Conduct regular vessel visits to confirm compliance with company standards.

Job Description:

The Senior Vessel Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of vessels, ensuring they meet established safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness standards.
