Wine Program Connoisseur
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Wine Program Connoisseur to oversee and elevate the wine program at our premises. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for wine, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to curate a wine list that enhances the overall dining experience.

Job Description:

The Wine Program Connoisseur will be responsible for managing the restaurant's wine list, ensuring alignment with the food menu and overall concept. This includes selecting wines, conducting regular wine tastings, and staff training sessions to enhance wine knowledge and service standards.

The successful candidate will also collaborate with chefs and management to pair wines with seasonal menus and special events. Additionally, they will monitor wine inventory, place orders, and ensure proper storage and rotation.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Old and New World wines, varietals, regions, and vintages. They will be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and maintain strong relationships with wine vendors.


Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in fine dining or upscale establishments.
  • Formal wine education (e.g., WSET certification, Court of Master Sommeliers) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
