AI Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled AI Governance Specialist to contribute to the development and implementation of our AI initiatives.

This role plays a crucial part in supporting the AI roadmap, AI systems impact assessments, and governance globally across our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and track progress of AI initiatives across regions
  • Ensure responsible development, deployment, and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems
AI Impact Assessment:
  • Conduct AI impact assessments to identify potential risks with AI systems
  • Analyze data and AI model performance to identify areas of improvement
  • Maintain AI impact assessment results and risk treatment plans
AI Approval Process:
  • Support AI approval process ensuring AI systems meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate AI approval committee meetings and ensure proper review and approval of AI systems
  • Develop and maintain AI approval process documentation and guidelines
Process Automation:
  • Streamline and automate AI governance processes using workflow management tools and other technologies
  • Develop and maintain AI governance process documentation and guidelines
  • Collaborate with technology teams to integrate AI governance processes with existing systems and tools
Ongoing Monitoring and Controls Testing:
  • Monitor AI systems to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct annual AI systems attestation to ensure the AI register is up to date
  • Develop and execute controls testing plans to identify potential risks and weaknesses
  • Collaborate with audit teams to ensure proper auditing and review of AI systems
Stakeholder Management:
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure AI systems meet business needs and organizational standards
  • Provide training and guidance on Responsible AI and AI governance processes and requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in AI governance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in law, public policy, ethics, computer science, or related field
  • At least 8 years of proven experience in technology, AI, or data protection
