Job Title: Power Generation Project Lead Electrical power is the backbone of modern society, and ensuring its efficient distribution and generation is a critical task. As a Power Generation Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of diesel rotary uninterruptible power supply (DRUPS) systems and power generation projects across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in project execution, preferably in the field of diesel engines and power generation. You should also possess excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to design, install, test, and commission DRUPS systems and power generation projects.
  • Draft and manage project scope statements, work breakdown structures, and project schedules.
  • Collaborate with consultants, clients, and authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including time sheets, meeting minutes, and issue logs.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost control and financial reporting.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are met, including documentation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors, clients, and team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project execution, preferably in the field of diesel engines and power generation.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including scope, goals, deliverables, contracts, and timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid Work Visa for Singapore.
