Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Information Security Manager to oversee and enhance our Unix/Linux operating systems' security protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting AIX, Redhat, and Solaris environments, particularly within data center and cloud infrastructures such as AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Unix/Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Provide expert support for AIX, Linux, and Solaris systems, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Conduct regular maintenance and support for production systems, including after-hours and weekend availability.
- Quickly identify and resolve system incidents to minimize downtime.
- Manage systems operating on AIX/Linux/Solaris platforms, focusing on clustering, partitioning, and virtualization technologies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AIX, Linux, and Solaris system administration, with a focus on high availability (HA) technologies.
- Oversee the installation, administration, patching, and upgrading of AIX/Solaris/RedHat Linux systems.
- Manage storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and backup technologies effectively.
- Participate in a 24/7 rotational duty standby support system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in operational support and project management.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical team.
- Strong technical expertise in AIX and Redhat Linux administration.
- Familiarity with storage and backup systems.
- Knowledge of Solaris administration and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with middleware technologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise architecture, constraints, and security measures.
