Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Metrology Expert to join our team at HI5 CONSULTING SOLUTIONS PTE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and precision of our manufactured products through the effective use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • CMM Programming and Operation: Develop and modify CMM programs for part inspections using industry-leading software such as PC-DMIS and Zeiss Calypso.
  • Quality Assurance and Inspection: Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using CMMs and other measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Data Analysis and Process Monitoring: Collect, analyze, and interpret inspection data to identify trends and ensure consistent quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering, production, and design teams to review technical drawings and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Maintenance and Equipment Care: Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CMM machines and inspection equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in CMM programming and operation in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, GD&T, precision measurement tools, and Wenzel machines.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, metrology, or a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
