Senior Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in designing, constructing, and commissioning DC projects.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing engineering tasks for the design of electrical systems for data centre facilities
  • Preparing electrical engineering calculations and deliverables in support of electrical system designs
  • Coordinating with disciplines in the preparation and development of deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines' inputs are incorporated
  • Providing specialized technical input to studies and all relevant technical documentation
  • Supporting project on-site execution and acting as an electrical specialist
  • Assisting in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work
  • Ensuring the technical quality and the timely issuance of all the electrical documents and drawings on the project
  • Raising concerns and change notices for consideration
  • Organizing regular electrical discipline meetings, drafting action plans, and following up on closures
  • Creating and writing packages and scopes of work to support commercial activities
  • Supporting closeout and commissioning of a project
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar experience and qualification
  • 5+ years working in electrical engineering
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Experience of working with international companies
  • LEED / BREEAM
  • Experience dealing with multi-discipline design teams
  • 2+ years' experience in Asia (NEA or SEA)
