We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer - Design Systems to join our team. As a key member of our design organization, you will be responsible for elevating the quality of our design system, empowering designers across the company to build cohesive, accessible, and high-quality experiences for our customers.
You will partner with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering to define initiatives and create a world-class and global design system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of design systems, user experience, and interaction design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elevate the quality of our design system
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define initiatives and create a global design system
- Design micro interactions, transitions, and animation for product touchpoints
- Design icons, components, and asset libraries, including documentation
- Evangelize systems thinking and drive for consistent, high-quality craft
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior UX Designer - Design Systems who possesses strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have a deep understanding of design systems, user experience, and interaction design principles.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in a Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design role
- Dedicated Design Systems experience in a complex environment
- Strong knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design
- Experience using qualitative or quantitative data to inform and measure the impact of the work
