Job Title: Surface Treatment Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Surface Treatment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing sandblasting of coating equipment and tooling, removing dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces, setting up and operating a blast booth or similar equipment, preparing evaporation materials, and maintaining the sandblasting area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sandblasting of coating equipment and tooling
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
- Prepare evaporation materials and maintain the sandblasting area
- Perform all duties according to work instructions and standard procedures
- Cleanliness and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Secondary education experience or 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Candidates with NITEC certificate but without any working experience are welcome to apply
Skills:
- Able to pay attention to details, careful & thorough in work attitude
- Ability to perform machine set-up and simple troubleshooting
- Work effectively with team members
Working Conditions:
- This role is 100% onsite
- Comfortable to work in a clean room environment
- High noise level and continuous standing and bending
- Some chemical exposure
- Willing to work 12-hour rotating shift including weekend and public holiday
PPE:
- Required to wear tight-fit respirator when necessary and safety rules
