Job Title: Cloud Security Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Strategist to spearhead our cloud security initiatives and safeguard our organization's digital assets.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in cloud security architecture, risk management, and compliance to drive business growth while ensuring the highest levels of security and governance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive cloud security strategies, providing leadership and direction to the cloud security team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute cloud security strategies and roadmaps
  • Promote security best practices and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization
  • Design and deploy secure cloud architectures and solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance cloud security
  • Develop and manage IAM strategies to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources
  • Implement and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and controls for managing identities, roles, and permissions
  • Establish, enforce, and monitor cloud security policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Lead incident response efforts for cloud security incidents
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure robust security solutions
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud security, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and minimum 2 years in lead position
  • Strong understanding of cloud security & cloud infrastructure architectures, frameworks, and best practices
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
  • Knowledge of container security, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services
  • Proficient in security technologies such as IAM, encryption, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks
