Job Title: APAC Manager, Global Trade

The position of the APAC Manager, Global Trade requires a skilled professional who will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Collins Aerospace Technology Management (TM) program in the Asia-Pacific region. This involves driving procedures, classification tool (xClass), and training for export and import classification of Collins products to the regional classifier focal network and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • APAC regional subject matter expert on export and import classification determination.
  • Determine export and import classifications for Collins Aerospace products utilizing Collins Aerospace procedures, work instructions, and tools.
  • Provide oversight, support, and build the regional classifier focal network over several regional sites.
  • Evaluate the regional classifier focal's determinations using Collins classification performance metrics (data analytics) and provide feedback.
  • Support classification verification/escalation process for complex classifications.
  • Develop regional standard work for extra territorial controls.
  • Support enhancement of the regional classification decision trees and onboard new classifier focals into xClass.
  • Collaborate with regional and global GT teams and participate in GT meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Adequate computer skills to use internal systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
