Job Title: Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for evaluating requisitions, maintaining supplier databases, and ensuring compliance with ISO requirements.
- Evaluate all requisitions to minimize excess and obsolete inventory
- Maintain and update databases of available suppliers and prices information
- Maintain purchasing documentation system to comply with ISO requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering/Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering/Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience
- Professional purchasing management certificate is preferred
- Knowledge of MRP/SAP system is required
Operational Support:
- Keep abreast on supply chain issues affecting the line
- Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve lines issues due to supply chain
- Liaise between suppliers and Subcontractor on a regular basis
- Respond to any ad hoc demand requirements from customer when their unit in the WIP
