Freight Manager Job Summary

The Air Freight Executive role is a vital part of our logistics team, responsible for handling all aspects of air freight from booking to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve issues efficiently by providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless cargo movement through effective coordination and planning.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices and customs forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor shipments and keep customers informed about any changes or delays, maintaining transparency and trust.
  • Support the sales team with customer queries and service requests, leveraging negotiation skills and pricing expertise to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure accurate customer records are maintained in the system, adhering to data protection policies.
  • Comply with relevant shipping laws, customs regulations, and company policies, upholding industry standards.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven experience in shipping documentation and freight management.
  • Sales and negotiation expertise, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of inbound freight management, freight handling, and air freight operations.
  • Ability to manage freight shipments and claims administration effectively.
  • Customer complaint resolution and freight shipment management expertise.
  • Pricing and shipping acumen, with a strong understanding of market trends.
