Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Handling full set of accounts, including monthly bank reconciliation & journal entries.
  • Recording high volumes of transaction data accurately using advanced excel methods from an e-commerce platform.
  • Reviewing monthly management accounts, performing financial analysis against budget and forecast on monthly basis and explanation of variance and trend.
  • Overseeing statutory filings including financial statements and tax.
  • Maintaining Fixed Assets Register.
  • Reviewing Staff's AP entries and staff claims.
  • Financial planning & Analysis for Sales, Cost and Inventory.
  • Liaising with the merchandising department for month-end inventory costing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related role.
  • Professional work ethic, leadership qualities and strong personal integrity.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting software is advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable in Autocount system would be a distinct advantage.
