Job Overview

Ferrero is a family-owned company with a progressive and global outlook, renowned for iconic brands such as Nutella, Tic Tac, Ferrero Rocher, and Kinder Surprise. As we continue to grow globally, we seek a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to support our Asia Pacific Region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and ensure implementation of the Regional Health and Safety Strategic Plan in alignment with Group guidelines.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate health and safety risks across the region.
  • Support the execution of Health and Safety objectives at the regional level, involving key stakeholders.
  • Maintain full compliance with regulatory and Group requirements, including documentation preparation and filing.
  • Investigate H&S incidents to determine root causes and define actions.
  • Monitor and verify adherence to work safety standards and procedures, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage regular reporting on metrics, status, issues, and incidents to Region H&S stakeholders.
  • Support H&S in conducting risk assessments on commercial sites and verifying emergency response plans.
  • Develop and deploy regional H&S policies, procedures, and initiatives in line with Group policies.
  • Coordinate and support regional roll-out of H&S projects and programs.
  • Raise awareness across the region on the importance of H&S, training and coaching employees and managers.
  • Maintain relations with public authorities and collaborate with externals during inspections and visits.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field, with professional certifications required.
  • Relevant Health and Safety management experience in FMCG, commercial H&S experience, and regional experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Strong accountability and problem-solving skills, result orientation.
  • Good planning and control capability, lateral thinking.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Adaptiveness and flexibility, good time and self-management skills.
  • Advanced MS Office, SAP is considered a strong plus.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken; any Asian language is considered a plus.
