Job Title: Visionary Project Director

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans for multiple projects, incorporating all statutory requirements and deliverables
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of projects to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate and be involved in pre- and post-tender surveys for SED/ordering and pre-con surveys on existing buildings (applicable to MOD projects only)
  • Sell variation orders timely to reach financial objectives
  • Provide regular project management reports for management during Work in Progress (WIP) review
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project teams including attending site meetings, involvement in internal and external inspections/handovers of projects for public use with no critical defects, and ordering spare parts via spare parts finder databases
  • Attend monthly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings with Commercial and EI Finance Controllers
  • Responsible for employee and subcontractor safety compliance at project sites and conducting regular safety walks
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical &/or Electronics Engineering and Project Management or equivalent
  • Project management experience from the construction industry
  • Familiarity with elevator and escalator products knowledge
  • Minimum 0-5 years of project management experience in lifts and escalators (preferred) or other relevant experience
