Job Title: Iron Ore Trader

We are seeking an experienced commodities trader to join our team. As a key member of our trading division, you will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies across various markets.

We aim to provide risk-adjusted returns while improving liquidity. Our goal is to create value through innovative trading strategies and exceptional market analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop commodity arbitrage trading plans using expertise in the Iron/Steel & Coal products industry.
  • Prioritize iron ore product futures and commodity futures arbitrage, encompassing both offshore and onshore products, with a focus on China vs Global futures Arb.
  • Analyze and report on business segment holdings, monitoring brokerage bank funds and monthly positions, and communicate updates to the trading supervisor.
  • Conduct thorough research within the designated sector, collecting and analyzing industry data, and preparing insightful research reports.
  • Identify valuable investment opportunities within the market.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the futures or securities finance industry with Futures or commodities arbitrage and a solid PnL track record.
  • Market insight: Showcase perceptive market insights combined with exceptional organizational, planning, and logical analysis skills, effective communication, coordination, and execution abilities.
  • Initiative and team spirit: Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and execution capability, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in diverse work environments and effectively manage work pressure.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related fields.
