Job Description

As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective software solutions that drive business competitiveness and operational effectiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of technology and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of architectural roadmaps.

  • Lead the development of architecture roadmaps, transition architectures, and solution documents to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the enterprise-wide IT architecture model and champion its use across all IT solution architecture and design activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and provide guidance on IT application portfolio management and transformational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain technology baselines, target-states, and road maps to ensure consistency and adherence to architectural principles and standards.
  2. Assess feasibility of designs by solution architects, identifying implementation risk and potential impact on the enterprise architecture.
  3. Define and/or review architectural design documentations to ensure they meet business requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 10 years of related work experience in a technical field such as computer science or information technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience dealing with enterprise solution/architecture covering broad technologies within multinational companies.
  • Proven track record of success in developing IT architecture and its adoption in the business.
  • Experience in developing holistic technical digital strategy across business units with a strong drive for results.
  • Strong and effective communication, negotiation, influencing skills, and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Additional qualifications include TOGAF certification and in-depth experience in software architecture, information/data architecture, data analytics architecture, and implementation.
