Job Summary

Our dynamic positioning (DP) system is in need of an engineer to support DP-related projects. The successful candidate will be involved in technical documentation, engineering analysis and attending sea trials onboard vessels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in the marine and offshore industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of Dynamic Positioning (DP) Trial Reports.
  • Contribute to the development of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for DP systems.
  • Attend sea trials onboard vessels to support system verification and data collection.
  • Liaise with clients on technical matters related to DP systems and project execution.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and system drawings as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice, including for offshore assignments.
  • Training and mentorship will be provided.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for drafting and system layout preparation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong command of spoken and written English for technical communication.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong documentation skills, a keen interest in marine systems and the ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.
