About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Vulnerability Coordinator to join our Group Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vulnerability exclusions between internal teams and/or vendors to ensure timely review and sharing of findings.
  • Ensure all assets are scanned and reduce the number of false positives within the environment.
  • Analyze and improve existing plugins to reduce false positives for vulnerabilities.
  • Manage the support for the Network Vulnerability Assessment platform, patching the OS supporting it, as well as the software itself and its plugins.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment and deliver under pressure.
  • Ability to occasionally perform duties after office hours.
  • Comfortable working in a large corporate environment.
  • Added advantage if you have experience with computer programming languages such as Python to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with Network Vulnerability Management tools like Rapid7 Nexpose or Tenable Nessus.
  • Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep pace with technical/operational innovation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate within the team, with other stakeholders, and external parties.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with secure coding and knowledge of OWASP is highly recommended.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task and take on different types of roles and activities at the same time.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take new challenges with an open-mind.
