Container Handling Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to provide expert support and training for customers in the operation and maintenance of freight container handling equipment.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working with heavy engineering equipment and electrical and hydraulic controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site training of customers on freight container handling equipment.
- Providing feedback to designers and factory personnel on any issues found on site.
- Proposing new features and enhancements on equipment in service and assisting sales teams with compiling quotes.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years' experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
- Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics, and electrical and hydraulic controls and feedback.
- Ability to travel at short notice in the region.
