MyCareersFuture is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery options are in place.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including configuration and maintenance of database servers and processes.
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement to optimize database performance.
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems, including scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
  • Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, as well as database migration and upgrade from lower to higher versions.
  • Ability to automate SQL installations and configurations on Windows and Linux servers.

**Additional Responsibilities**

  • Manage production server environment, including creation and maintenance of database instances.
  • Support for MS SQL, AG installation, hardening, upgrade, and patching.
  • Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases is a plus.

**Requirements**

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database management systems.
  • Experience with database migration and upgrade, as well as high availability and disaster recovery options.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 production support environment.
