Inventory Management Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Professional to join our team. This role involves coordinating provision scheduling, setup, and communication with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth operations.

  • Responsibilities include conducting quarterly performance evaluations for dedicated provision providers to maintain service standards.
  • Performing discovery and research to identify potential new port itineraries that align with operational goals is a key responsibility.
  • The specialist will collaborate with Supply Chain Logistics, Trade Compliance, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination across functions.
  • Ensuring accuracy of purchase order (PO) data and working closely with Expeditors to monitor standard shipments and manage expedited logistics requests are critical tasks.
  • Analyzing workflows to identify areas for improvement and providing strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency is another important aspect of this role.
  • Cross-training initiatives to support onboard hotel stores operations and promote team flexibility are also part of the job.
  • The specialist will oversee the Coupa Ordering System and receipt processes for third-party food and beverage vendors.
  • Organizing and facilitating staff meetings with Hotel Stores Managers to ensure alignment and effective communication is also required.
Requirements:

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the cruise line industry or back-of-house food and beverage operations.
  • Experience in hotel logistics, inventory, warehousing, 3PL, hotel storekeeping is essential.
  • Operational excellence with existing cruise lines and provisions is also required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change.
  • Proficient computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various databases are necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and good organizational skills are required.
