Job Overview

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team. This role will focus on developing an experimental apparatus for a quantum processor based on Neutral Atom Arrays.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a cold atom apparatus using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Create the necessary interface to drive a quantum processor.
  • Regularly report progress to the principal investigator.
  • Supervise PhD and undergraduate students in their research projects.
Requirements:
  • A PhD degree in experimental physics, with expertise in either quantum physics or optics.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with laser systems, vacuum technology, atomic physics, and photonics.
